Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Upper Marlboro, MD
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Upper Marlboro, MD, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This position provides vital speech and language support to help students achieve their academic and social potential in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and IEP teams to ensure cohesive support
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of Maryland
- Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification or eligibility to obtain certification
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language pathology preferred but not mandatory
Position Details:
- Multiple openings for full-time and part-time roles
- Caseload consists of K-12 students
- On-site service delivery is required, supporting students within the school setting
