Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver targeted speech-language therapy, addressing articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding issues, assistive technology, augmentative communication, social skills, and delays in receptive/expressive language
  • Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments to identify student speech-language needs
  • Develop thorough, insightful reports summarizing student assessment outcomes and observations
  • Create, implement, and monitor individualized IEP objectives
  • Work closely with early intervention students as needed
  • Collaborate and communicate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student progress and needs

Qualifications:

  • Delaware state SLP license (or be eligible to obtain)
  • Accepting SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY candidates
  • Previous experience with moderate to severe student populations is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible, solution-driven mindset; thrives in a team-oriented setting
