Speech Language Pathologist
Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based speech and language services for K-12 students during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams while supporting students' communication, academic, and social development.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist license required, or ability to obtain licensure before start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, special education services, and speech-language evaluations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and school staff regarding communication goals and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
Assignment Details:
- Location: Near Las Vegas, NV
- Pay Rate: $50-$60 hourly
- School Year: August 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027
- Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Student Population: K-12
- Maximum Caseload: 55 Students
- Setting: Onsite Only
