Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, addressing speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff or SLP assistants, ensuring compliance with therapeutic standards and individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify student needs and monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working as an SLP in school-based settings.
- Proven ability to supervise and guide junior staff or clinicians.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of school policies and IDEA regulations is preferred.
