School Speech Language Pathologist - Lansdale, Pennsylvania

Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Pennsylvania SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or strong interest in completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience supporting students in educational settings preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a range of communication disorders
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and other professionals
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
- Deliver direct therapy services individually and in groups to a diverse student population
- Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and maintain detailed records as required
- Partner with teaching and administrative staff to support classroom success
- Engage families and caregivers, providing updates and resources to foster continued progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Stay current on best practices for school-based SLP services
