Position Details:
- Full-time, 5 days per week
- Location: 3111 West Allegheny Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19132
- Serving a diverse K-12 student population
- Contract spans ESY (Extended School Year) and the 2026/2027 academic year
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Pennsylvania SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but highly motivated new graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, documentation, and reporting
- Provide clear communication and updates to parents and multidisciplinary teams
- Act as a resource for staff and participate in IEP meetings
