Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience providing speech therapy in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with individualized education plans
- Conduct assessments and create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each student
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for meetings and parent communication
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational and social-emotional goals
- Educate staff and families on strategies to foster communication development
