Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Lancaster, PA

Step into a dynamic educational setting as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students at the elementary level for the 2026–2027 academic year (August 20, 2026 through June 7, 2027). This contract opportunity focuses on delivering direct services at a single elementary school with a caseload of around 55 students, including responsibilities within a dedicated Life Skills classroom.
Utilize your expertise in pediatric speech and language development to collaborate with staff and make a tangible difference in children’s lives. The daily schedule aligns with building hours of 8:20 AM to 4:00 PM, offering clear structure and the ability to dedicate your attention to just one campus and its vibrant student community.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or related field).
- Current or eligible Pennsylvania SLP licensure.
- Holds Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or is a strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate.
- Experience working with children in an educational context preferred.
- Knowledge of best practices in school-based speech therapy, including work with pediatric and life skills populations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with a range of speech-language needs.
- Support all students on the assigned caseload, including those in the Life Skills classroom.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Document progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with teachers and families.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school initiatives.
