Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP License, or eligibility and willingness to obtain prior to start date
- Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Fingerprinting through OSPI required or willingness to complete the process
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively onsite, engaging directly with students and staff
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based assessments and interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to assigned school sites (high school, middle school, or elementary school, depending on placement)
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and track student progress
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, families, and related service providers
- Maintain compliant documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students of varying backgrounds and needs, fostering a positive learning environment
