Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP state license and eligibility to work as an SLP in a school environment
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with students, families, and educational staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders
- Provide direct therapy services to middle school students three days per week, approximately 7.5 hours per day
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ academic success
- Monitor progress, document interventions, and adjust treatment plans as needed
