Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Jersey
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship considered
- Previous experience within school settings, ideally with adolescent populations
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes and providing services in accordance with individualized plans
Responsibilities:
- Deliver standard speech and language services to a diverse caseload of middle and high school students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and prepare progress reports
- Provide consultative support as needed to teachers and families
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to an inclusive educational environment
- No specialized AAC support required for this assignment
