School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Lakeville, Minnesota

Qualifications and Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Minnesota (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience supporting K–12 students preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of an educational team
- Solid organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with varied needs
- Complete assessments, evaluations, and create individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with school teams
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication goals in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Support students in achieving improved communication, social interaction, and academic success
