Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid or eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and the IEP process
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students referred by educational teams
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with student needs and district guidelines
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of student progress as required by district and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expert recommendations for support strategies
