Desired Background and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology state license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience in pediatric and school-based practice highly regarded
- Proficiency in assessment, intervention, IEP development, and progress monitoring for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality speech-language therapy services for students K-12 as directed by the school’s needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to the creation of student-centered goals and supports
- Maintain timely documentation of therapy, assessments, and communications per district standards
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support student communication in the classroom
