Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunities are available providing essential services to students in a supportive educational setting. This contract position includes a specific opening for an SLP working with a high school caseload. Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
- Active state SLP licensure
- Experience in school settings highly valued
- Familiarity with both in-person and teletherapy service delivery models
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide individualized interventions
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students, including direct and indirect services
- Manage a high school caseload, supporting diverse communication needs
- Create and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
- Conduct assessments, submit documentation, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to promote student success
- Maintain regular communication with caregivers and school personnel
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize technology and teletherapy platforms when providing virtual services
