Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license issued by the Department of Health (SLP-CCC required)
- Previous experience in schools is strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing varied caseloads spanning K-12, including Reg, ASD, DHH, PreK, and itinerant assignments
- Willing to work exclusively on-site (remote/VOCO options are not available)
- Completion of Florida DOE background/fingerprinting requirements; candidates with recent prints may qualify for expedited clearance
- Successful completion of an internal video interview is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide therapy for students with communication, speech, and language needs
- Develop individualized plans, implement interventions, and monitor student progress in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Serve multiple school sites within Palm Beach County, with flexibility required based on assignment and caseload
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines and documentation standards
