What you’ll bring:
- Active Florida provisional SLP license from the Department of Health
- Eligibility and readiness to complete the necessary fingerprinting for school district placements (assistance provided for those with prior prints)
- Passion for supporting students in PreK through high school settings—caseloads vary by assignment
- Commitment to on-site, in-person services (no virtual options)
- Flexibility to select preferred school placements based on your interests and convenience
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to assigned students, tailored to their needs and IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with school and state guidelines
- Engage in supervisory meetings and pursue ongoing professional development
- Participate in all required onboarding steps and internal interviews prior to placement
