Desired Qualities and Background:
- Valid CA Speech-Language Pathology license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) with strong potential also considered
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to work well as part of a team, as well as independently
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students to address a range of speech and language needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on student progress and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ communication goals within the classroom and beyond
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to interventions for students' academic and social success
