Set in a welcoming school environment near Lake Elsinore, CA, this position focuses on speech-language therapy for three medically fragile classrooms. You’ll work alongside another SLP and a dedicated SLPA, ensuring multidisciplinary support for every student. The assignment is set to begin on August 10, 2026, and runs through December—covering a staff member’s leave—with potential for extension.
Ideal Experience and Qualifications:
- Active license: SLP-CCC or eligible SLPA
- Experience in K-12 school settings, particularly with students who are medically fragile
- Proven expertise with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with team members
- Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic, supportive environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to students’ individual IEPs
- Assess, plan, and document progress, communicating outcomes with staff and families
- Collaborate closely with the classroom team and the other SLP/SLPA
- Incorporate AAC strategies and technology into daily interventions
- Provide ongoing support and consultation to educational staff
What to Expect:
- Contracted assignment with a focus on work-life balance—typical hours are 32.5-35 per week

- Compensation for SLPAs is $81.90 per hour
