Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - La Mesa, CA

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants also encouraged
- Valid state SLP license or ability to obtain licensure prior to start
- Experience with pediatric populations and school settings is highly valued
- Expertise in working with mild to moderate disabilities at the elementary level
- Strong consultation, collaboration, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy for elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and assessments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute expertise on communication development
- Offer support and training to educational staff and families as needed
- Support transition planning and facilitate generalization of skills in classroom environments
