Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (or equivalent for SLPA)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Accepting candidates who have completed or are in their Clinical Fellowship Year
- Experience or strong interest in working with children in a school setting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide services onsite, collaborating in person with the school team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Attend and participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support when applicable, especially if working as or with an SLPA
