Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in schools or similar educational environments
- Strong diagnostic, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Adept at supporting diverse student needs, including nonverbal populations
- Passion for teamwork and collaboration with SLP staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students across multiple grade levels
- Accurately document assessment findings and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Partner closely with another SLP, contributing to program development for life skills students
- Communicate consistently with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal requirements for school-based therapy
