Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP credential
- Valid state licensure for SLP in Florida (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school environment working with K-8 students
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned K-8 students
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state regulations
- Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of each student
