School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Kent, Washington

Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Washington
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with school-based SLP services and IEP participation
- Experience providing pediatric speech and language therapy
- Proficient with teletherapy platforms and virtual communication
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Flexible, collaborative approach to supporting diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary and/or secondary students
- Complete evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring on caseload
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with student IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams
- Communicate regularly with families and staff regarding student progress
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation following district and state guidelines
- Adapt to both in-person and virtual therapy modalities as needed
