This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the current school year, offering you the chance to make a real difference in the lives of PreK and Kindergarten students.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with PreK and Kindergarten students, is preferred
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop age-appropriate interventions and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to PreK and Kindergarten students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care for each student
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and adapt interventions to support a variety of learning styles and abilities
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with school personnel
