Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY candidates)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome
- Previous school-based experience or a strong desire to support K-3 populations
- Demonstrated ability to adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities in this Position:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students in grades K-3
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Track student progress, document sessions, and update IEP goals accordingly
- Work alongside teachers, administrators, and families to support optimal educational outcomes
- Effectively manage and prioritize a caseload of 45 students
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to multidisciplinary teams
