Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Illinois or eligibility to obtain
- Completion of or eligibility for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred but not required
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across K-12th grade
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach
- Passion for supporting students’ academic and social success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy for students with communication challenges
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to guide educational planning
- Support students in developing functional communication skills necessary for success in both academic and social settings
