Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or candidates eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience in a school-based (K-12) setting preferred, but open to new graduates
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations and therapy for students with communication disorders across kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and educational staff
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of student progress
- Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development as required
