Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible for Illinois SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative mindset for working with educators, parents, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students aged kindergarten through high school
- Conduct assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and comply with school requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, communicate progress with families, and offer recommendations
- Provide therapy in both individual and group settings, adapting approaches to diverse student needs
