A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support in a school setting located in Joliet, IL. This position involves delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized speech and language therapy sessions for students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and monitor student progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as an SLP.
  • Certification and licensure suitable for working in a school environment.
  • Proven experience providing speech-language therapy services in schools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to manage caseloads and maintain accurate records.
