School Speech Language Pathologist - Jersey City, NJ

Your expertise will help shape student success, focusing on direct intervention, assessments, and progress monitoring for learners who need your support the most. The ideal candidate brings both strong clinical skills and a passion for fostering communication in a school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid SLP NJ license is required
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required—no CF or SLPA candidates due to supervision constraints
- Documented experience serving elementary caseloads in school-based settings
- Comfortable with district protocols and a willingness to acclimate quickly
- Reliable transportation and proximity to the commute
- Ability to provide your own testing materials
- Successful completion of onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, and fingerprinting for both agency and district
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services for a diverse group of elementary students
- Complete comprehensive testing, evaluations, and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain clear records and contribute to IEPs, collaborating with school teams
- Effectively manage and prioritize caseload needs
