Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Jersey City, New Jersey

This is a contract, full-time position providing essential communication support to early childhood and elementary school students over a 32.5-hour workweek.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active New Jersey SLP license required
- New Jersey Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Experience working with pediatric and school-age populations
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
- Effective collaboration and communication abilities
- Organized and motivated to support diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs in young learners
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with IEP process requirements
- Support students in developing social and academic communication skills
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
