Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Elizabeth, New Jersey

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active New Jersey SLP license (required)
- Current NJ DOE certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience providing pediatric speech-language pathology services within a school setting
- Knowledgeable in assessment, intervention strategies, and IEP documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to early childhood and elementary students across 5 days per week (32.5 hours weekly)
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions targeting speech, language, communication, and social skills
- Maintain thorough documentation and monitor student progress toward IEP goals
- Work alongside educators, families, and other related service providers to promote an inclusive learning environment
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development
