Essential Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- New Jersey Department of Education Certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Clinical experience in school settings is highly valued, including familiarity with IEP processes and serving diverse student populations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork with educators, families, and support staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students in accordance with IEP objectives
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to facilitate student success
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, staff training, and professional development
