A contract Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Sonora, CA, working within a school setting. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to pediatric and school-aged students, focusing on thorough patient evaluations and targeted therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to specific goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions addressing speech and language objectives
- Monitor, document, and report on patient progress with detailed accuracy
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
- Educate and involve families in the therapeutic process to support outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Requirements:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology is mandatory
