Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Florida DOH SLP Licensure (CCC required)
  • Experience in school settings serving Pre K–12th grade preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel between assigned school sites (itinerant role)
  • Familiarity with mild to moderate caseloads
  • Must complete/verify Florida educational fingerprinting (may require new prints if previous are outdated)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to diverse populations (Pre K–12)
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with district guidelines
  • Adapt services based on students’ needs and school location
