Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Florida DOH SLP Licensure (CCC required)
- Experience in school settings serving Pre K–12th grade preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel between assigned school sites (itinerant role)
- Familiarity with mild to moderate caseloads
- Must complete/verify Florida educational fingerprinting (may require new prints if previous are outdated)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to diverse populations (Pre K–12)
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with district guidelines
- Adapt services based on students’ needs and school location
