Itinerant positions can be created by combining caseloads across multiple school sites, primarily at Beachside High School and Nease High School.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida DOH SLP license (Certificate of Clinical Competence required)
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology services
- Willingness to undergo Florida fingerprinting requirements, or confirm existing clearance status through the AHCA Clearinghouse
- Availability for on-site work during the school year (no virtual/remote options)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to high school-aged students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service professionals
- Manage documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
- Support students across multiple school sites, with flexible scheduling possible
