This contract opportunity offers both part-time and full-time schedules for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 5, 2026, and concluding May 29, 2027. Serving high school students across multiple campuses, you’ll develop and implement engaging therapy plans, foster communication growth, and collaborate with a passionate educational team.
What You’ll Need:
- Valid Florida Department of Health SLP license (SLP-CCC)
- Recent experience providing speech-language services, preferably in a school environment
- Ability to work across multiple campuses—assignments may be combined for full-time itinerant roles
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to timely credentialing processes, including fingerprinting and JLA badge application
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing direct therapy services to students, primarily at Beachside High School (4 days/week) and Nease High School (2 days/week)
- Conducting assessments, developing and updating IEPs, and documenting student progress
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve each student’s communication goals
- Managing caseloads that may span across different school locations
- Ensuring compliance with all district and state guidelines
