School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Jacksonville, Alabama
Step into a rewarding contract role serving elementary students as a CCC-SLP, beginning August 6th and concluding May 14th. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure for SLP practice
- Previous experience in a school setting (elementary level preferred)
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to PreK-6th grade students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Provide both individual and small group therapy tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers and families to promote student success
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Engage in regular progress monitoring to adjust interventions as necessary
