What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid SLP license or eligibility in Alabama
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidate
  • Experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings
  • Passion for working with elementary-age children
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver therapy services to elementary students with a range of speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress in accordance with school district guidelines
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to maximize student outcomes and promote a positive learning environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings, family conferences, and collaborative team activities
  • Stay up to date with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
