Qualifications:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of New Jersey
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience in a school-based setting, preferably working with middle school and high school populations
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes and experience with goal development and progress monitoring
- Flexibility with caseloads and a proactive, student-centered approach
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students, focusing on individualized student needs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and communications in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development as needed
- Adapt therapy techniques based on student response and progress
