Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based opportunity in Irvine, TX for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for licensed SLPs who are passionate about helping students improve communication skills, language development, articulation, and overall academic performance within an educational setting.
We are looking for professionals who thrive in collaborative school environments and are committed to delivering high-quality speech and language services to students with a variety of communication disorders and special education needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education teams, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with goal creation, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate therapy records, service logs, and student progress reports
- Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and pragmatic communication deficits
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse student populations
