Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Ability and willingness to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) onsite
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Experience with K-12 student populations, including those with diverse communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across different grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support IEP processes and student progress
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to students identified with speech or language impairments
- Supervise SLPAs to ensure high-quality therapy and compliance with district and professional standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to district and legal guidelines
