The district seeks professionals who are not only adept at managing their own caseloads, but who are also willing and able to supervise SLPAs onsite. If you are an organized, collaborative team player, this role can help you take your experience to the next level.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas SLP License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable providing speech and language services to students in grades K-12
- Experience supervising SLPAs onsite is a plus
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a full range of speech-language services including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Track data and document student progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Provide guidance and supervision to onsite SLPAs as needed
- Work collaboratively with special education staff, teachers, and parents
- Manage a caseload across multiple school sites with flexibility
