The district seeks professionals who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and are experienced or open to supervising Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) onsite, ensuring mentorship and collaboration within the team.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience or willingness to supervise SLPAs onsite
- Strong background in school-based speech therapy (K-12 population preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, supporting IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
