Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in schools or with school-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Passion for helping diverse student populations achieve success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and communications
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing training
- Provide direct therapy services and support classroom integration as needed throughout the contract term
