Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students in their communication development within an engaging educational environment near Irvine, CA. This contract opportunity is full-time, on-site, and ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make an immediate impact during a Leave of Absence placement. You'll collaborate closely with school staff and families, providing vital speech and language services across one or more campuses in the San Juan Capistrano area. The position is slated to begin in mid-October, with the exact end date and campus assignments to be determined.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
  • Current, active California SLP license
  • Experience in a K-12 school setting is strongly preferred
  • Knowledgeable in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in children and adolescents
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for serving diverse student populations

Role Highlights:

  • Deliver individualized and group therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Serve as a key resource to students, educators, and families for speech and language support
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting
  • May travel between campuses as assigned
