This full-time, contract opportunity begins in mid-October and is ideal for an experienced SLP ready to take on a rewarding Leave of Absence assignment. The role is on-site and may involve working across multiple school sites in the San Juan Capistrano area. You'll play a crucial role in the development of students, helping them reach key communication milestones.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active SLP license in the state of California
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with fellow educators and support staff
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working full-time, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to students, tailoring interventions to diverse needs
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within school-age populations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate data and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to provide holistic support
- Attend necessary meetings related to student care and district requirements
