- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Commitment to supporting K-8 students with communication, language, and speech needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving an average caseload of about 55 students per SLP
- Providing comprehensive speech and language therapy tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Conducting evaluations and maintaining accurate documentation
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
This assignment offers the chance to cover three Leaves of Absence, with contracts ranging from late September through late December, mid-October through spring break (with strong potential to finish out the academic year), and an immediate start with a potential year-long placement. The district consistently offers ongoing opportunities, so extending your impact beyond the initial term is likely.
