Speech Language Pathologist in Indian River, MI

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure, to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (CFY) welcome
- Experience or coursework in school-based SLP services highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and report writing
- Passion for working with 4th-6th grade students and ability to tailor interventions to individual needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop personalized treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide support and guidance for classroom staff regarding communication strategies
