School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Independence, Oregon

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though CFY candidates are welcome
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings is highly valuable
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans for diverse caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students, onsite, in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement and generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of assessments, progress reports, and therapy sessions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Deliver training and support to school personnel as needed, encouraging an inclusive learning environment
